AMAZON PRIME RAINBOW MURDERS.
For Amazon Prime's latest docuseries about the 90s gay murders that happened in The Netherlands, we created the complete graphic package, including the title sequence with A.I. We designed a visual style that is inspired by the recollection of data and memories using A.I. to create a completely unique style for the show. This was our first time using A.I. for a commercial project, and it has been a very tough process. The main struggle was keeping the client happy and having minimal control over the art direction of the final look.
We tried using 3D with A.I. (building our own scenes), photogrammetry in combination with A.I., and using existing stock footage in combination with A.I. None of these methods gave us the desired look, so in the end we decided to shoot our own footage with our phones to have maximum control over the type of footage we load into the A.I. and afterward completely disfigure it with the A.I. tool. Using this method still gives you the movements of the original footage, but with the A.I. treatment on top. The client was very happy with the final result.
