TECHLEAP GEN-TREE

GEN-TREE INSTALLATION.

Techleap is a non-profit organisation that exists to help Dutch start-ups and scale-ups move forward. We were commisioned to create an immersive installation on future-proof leadership. We developed and built a tree-shaped construction that featured 36 screens and a 10-minute animation about growth.

Together with Foster & Kin, we began crafting a narrative that we could translate into an immersive audiovisual installation. We built a 36 screen tree-shaped construction that tells a story that goes from monoculture (one-dimensional, old world leadership) to biodiversity (a versatile, carefully balanced mix of perspectives).

80% of the installation was custom animation, the other 20% consisted of interviews with Gen-Z’ers and business leaders who shared their views on the topic. Throughout the story we subtly move from a grey, dystopian atmosphere to a more optimistic and colourful world.
